I am a good, solid player with experience in a wide range of music settings from Count Basie style big bands to Salsa groups. I regularly play in jazz settings such as small duos and trios for weddings. parties and other event, as well as playing in local jazz jam session each month for the Wells Jazz Collective and the East Bristol Jazz Club.
I can read charts and the dots if needed and have a good set of jazz standards memorized. I am reliable and get on well with people. Over the years I have played in 'Django' style groups, Theatre shows, 'Trad' bands, Pop groups, Folk bands, Blues bands and Modern jazz groups and have lots of studio experience due to my day job as a music technology lecturer.

I live in Wells, Somerset so I can get to most places in Somerset, Bath, Bristol, Wiltshire and into Gloucestershire. Come and see me play at Green Park Brasserie in Bath or at the regular jam nights in Wells and Bristol.
